Introduction
Welcome to the Trans Elders project! This is a collaborative blog by two trans* individuals who have settled into their identities and would like to help others do the same. If you are questioning your own gender identity, or want advice about specific trans* issues in your life, feel free to leave a question in our ask box. Please remember that everything we share on this blog will be written from our own perspective and is not meant to reflect the opinions and beliefs of any other trans* people.
About me
The purpose of this tumblr is to share the experiences of Elder K and Elder A, two trans* people who have settled into their gender identities and hope that sharing their stories can help others do the same.Elder K is a geek, a skeptic, and an atheist. He likes photography, cooking, and the miracle of consciousness. He was also assigned "female" at birth, a fact that some people would like to make into a big deal. He will be talking about how people like that should find better things to do with their time.
Elder A is a female-identified butch who has had top surgery. She will be sharing her story about pursuing top surgery as a non-male identified individual. She also wants to provide resources and a place to talk for those out there who are FAAB and non-male-identified and want top surgery.
